Finally got the C5 magnesium wheels on!!! got them back from the paint shop last week and had the tires mounted up,, exactly the look i was going for, couldnt be happier! they are 18x9.5 all the way around,, wish they made a wider mag wheel for the back but i think it looks great.
I'm not too fond of gold, but that's really nice looking!
IMO, but I would get rid of the white on the hatch and hood, and replace it with gold. IMO the gold and white don't compliment each other.

i didn't think i would like it either, they sprayed the wheels alot darker than the original bronze color and im happy they did, makes them stand out alot more. in person the white looks really good and goes well with the bronze wheels. the only thing i might do is powder coat the calipers black.

I have wanted to do that for a long time, but I don't think the stock magnesium color would look good on a silver car.
Is that the factory color you had them repainted or is it a little darker shade of gold?

They look good. It would look better with the factory corners, a gold manta and some gold rear letters. To me the silver does not flow that well. Other than the wheels look good.

thanks all, ironhead, your car has been a longtime favorite of mine, makes a b-e-autiful desktop! i thought about putting more gold on the car but dont want to make it ghetto fabulous. im currently looking for factory corners and as soon as i get time im removing the silver camaro inlays in the back. was thinking of getting one of the taller dick harrel spoilers and doing some tasteful gold trim on it. and yes,, new rotors and properly poweder coated calipers are on the way,, i just have trouble throwing away parts that still have life in them! everyday i inspect the fronts for cracks in hope that i will find one or two
