Any reason you want ET streets??? I have seen people pull the same if not better times with ET Radials. Especially if you go with a 15" rim, I really think either would be good for you. Also, with the Radials, you could drive to the track on them, run them, and drive home all on the same time without sacrificing any driveability. They won't grow top end either.

I don't know from what i've seen from F-bod's running them at the track i've seen that the ET Streets have been hooking better then the radials. They seem stickier and have been launching better, take in mind that that has only been a handful of cars but still that's my personal experience with them. (could also be driver mod yes but i dunno). I always get to the track like an hour early anyway since it's right down the street from my house so jacking it up and swapping tires is a cake walk!!

i would go with ET Streets, thats what im running and i love them, they hook very well for me. with your suspension adjusted right they will hook good for you and it shouldnt be "too much tire" for your car, i've seen f-bodys pull the front tires off the ground on 275-40-17s. I definatly wouldnt go with nitto 555r, from what ive seen any f-body thats more than stock blows those tires off when trying to launch.

That's what i've seen Cape T/A which is why i went away from the Nitto 555R's, they are a stock car or minor bolt on only tire and i would use them for like a month and then need something better so i figured invest in the better tire now!!

Well, if yo have the coin, go for a set of drag wheels that don't require griding on the calipers.
There are some available now that are pretty affordable and fit over stock brakes.
One advantage of the ET Street vs the ET Street Radial is weight. The bias ply tires are lighter.

damn nice **** bad6as what did you end up running?? That's pretty much what i'm looking to run except with full suspension cuz i dont like my 10 bolt. Did you run it at MIR?? I figure that should be a fair estimate of what i'll be at as far as climate wise cuz i'll be at MIR. Yeah that's what i want JGKadell pretty much a ET Street track tire that i dont have to grind the caliper or anything!!

I lost interest in reading all the post..but ill throw in my 2 cents. ET Streets without a doubt since your a 6spd. I run 28x11.5x15s. And they are the awsome. 1.60 60ft and very consistant 1.7s trying to figure everything out. ET radials are a waste on a stick car.
