Default how long do slicks last

i have a pair of m/t et drags now they were my buddys and have 4 runs on them the kicker is that there 4 years old ..... they have a lot of life on them but are they safe ? thoughts

The bad thing about old slicks is the dry rot. If the tread markers have good depth to them and there not dry rotted or cracked on the side wall you should be fine.

i've looked pretty hard at them i did not see any dry rot ..... but saftey first thats why im askin.. thanks

if you dont see any dry rot you should be ok
