widening front runners

widening front runners

did a search and no results. i know that i can not buy a pro star thats wider to fit my front wheels, i love how they look but they burn through the tires pretty quickly. is there any reason why i wouldnt be able to widen my front runners, would they still fit in the wheel well without any issues, can you even widen aluminum wheels?

There are several companies that will widen aluminum rims. Search the board here; several members have had their factory aluminum rims widened and some have even had them cut down to skinnies.

i know i could get it done at wheelsamerica here in dallas just want to make sure everything would still clear if i made the front runners 15x6 or 15x7

They won't clear the brakes if you widen them.
