Default Alpine iDA-X100

Anyone have any pros and cons about this headunit? It looks very sleek and cool and i'm about to buy it soon. I read the best buy reviews and they only had good things to say about it..

i have the iDA-X200 (similar) and i love it.
no more POS CD`s skipping, SQ is good, a lot of music can be stored on
a thumb drive and it is light weight.

i have it. no CD player unless you get a changer.

I can't think of one bad thing to say about it. ipod connection is fantastic. the unit is easy to use. what do you wanna know about it?

ps- the one pictured is not the same one i have, the one in the picture is a x001 which is the original one. it had a few bugs so alpine came out with the x100 and its perfect in every way

you just copy the files to the thumb drive.
you will need to create a folder structure of your liking.
the beauty of it is you can make tons of different playlists/custom folders
and not need to burn CDs or deal with the clutter, and MP3s are cheaper.

Put one in my cadillac and its crazy, I had alpines older cd deck that ive had for 2 years, and this puts it to sleep, so easy to search through songs. The sound quality is pretty good too, better than my last one.

why would you even want cds again when you could use an ipod. No loosing cds, no scratching cds, no skipping. I love my x100.
