Window motor swap Instructions = A+!

Window motor swap Instructions = A+! My driver side window motor went out [suprised? no].
I got a new window motor for my B-Day [great present!] and instead of paying someone $100 to swap it out -- I decided to try it on my own.
I looked at instructions here [ Power Window Motor ] for help, and although these instructions were for the camaro and not the trans am, they were excellent.
I've heard a lot of bad things about doing this youself, but if you take your time and keep your cool, it is very simple and will save you $50-100 on repair bills.
One point of caution -- DEFINITELY wear protective gloves and cover your arms as the website suggests. The door panel is made of unfinished fiberglass -- and it WILL cut and splinter your skin.
Anyway -- these instructions are given an A+ from me.

Re: Window motor swap Instructions = A+! What window motor did you use? The stock GM one? I'm looking for the strogest and fastest motor that will fit the car. I don't care about the cost. I'm sick of this....

Re: Window motor swap Instructions = A+! I used the $50 one from Autozone .. its a little bit more noisy than stock but its faster than my other window motor ..and it too has the lifetime warranty
