Suggestions on iPhone compatible HU

This is just my opinion and I know others will disagree but I think Pionner is crap-but that's just me if you like it good. When I got my 95 V6 last year it came with the Pioneer DEH-14 and it sounded horrible. I just took it out a couple of days ago and put in a cheap Durabrand or something or other.
But I don't know pioneer might have stepped up their game and got better.

thanks for all your suggestions guys, I really appreciate it. I ended up going with this, http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1218026345771 ..it's the only HU that comes bundled with the HD radio tuner. Bought it along with some alpine 600c speakers and the sound is nice but I'm thinking about adding an amp since I eventually want to get some decent midbass speakers and a small sub.
BTW, a small audio store was trying to sell me some JL 6.5 w/? or something like that. My only concern was that the speakers are 8 ohms and I know the stock speakers are 4 ohms. Would those work if I were to get an aftermarket amp?
