Actually, K40 is the brand and Undetectable is the model. K40 has been making remote radar detectors for many years - remote meaning that the actual detector is mounted outside the car with only a small display head or even just an LED inside to provide alerts.

I used to have one of the original K40 SonarRadar units and it worked quite well but the only alert was the LED and a buzzer. You had to learn what type of sound indicated which radar band. So I replaced it with an Escort Passport SR7 - it is a remote setup as well but has a full display of signal strength and band.

There is no such thing as a good (or even functional) radar jammer - at least not one that won't get you thrown in federal prison for a long time. OTOH, laser (LIDAR) jammers are available and can be quite effective at a distance. K40, Escort, Beltronics, and several others make laser jammers. They are illegal in a handful of states but aren't covered by FCC regulations like a radar jammer so there is no federal law against them.

Nope, no speeding at all. I get hassled enough for doing the speed limit then get accused of speeding
