Re: H.I.D need ballast? Yes, true HID kits need a ballast and use a special bulb. IMO the best kits for HID are Sylvania or Philips and from what I have been told they make the kits for everyone else anyways. I have a catz kit in my F350 and a BPP kit in my Corvette. I know the Breathless kit is not made by them.

I have spoken to a person from http://www.hidkits.com/ and he said Sylvania or Philips is the way to go.
Call them if you have any questions as I had a phone call for over 20 minutes and he just kept going on and on! I think I spoke to william? cant remember his name but he was extremely helpful.
He really helped me out a lot. Only thing is he has a strong accent so you might not understand every word he says.

Re: H.I.D need ballast? Well I guess the ones I got aren't true H.I.D. lights then , because they were just the bulbs. And they worked fine with nothing else. But I will look into the right ones. Thanks guys.
