Default Alpine SPS-600C Questions

Do any of you have them installed? If so, how are they? I am contemplating replacing my door speakers with those.

They work ok. Just have to cut the tweeter wires on the back to wire them up properly to your stock harness for F-body application.

Thanks for the replies. I am trying to decide between getting those speakers or getting a PXA-H100 to go along with my Alpine IDA-X100. On my 96 firebird with the "Premium Sound" (not monsoon) system, it sounded excellent, but hooked up to the monsoon system, it is EXTREMELY lacking in the high-midrange areas. When I still had the stock HU in, even when I pushed those frequencies on the EQ, it still sounded gross! I can't decide if it is the speakers or if I need to tweak the sound with an EQ some.

By the way, is there any other EQ that will work with the X100? I don't really need all the bells and whistles that the PXA-H100 has, just something to "fill out" the sound like it was on my 96. Any ideas???
