Security light blinking! so the security light is blinking and the car wont start any thoughts. sorry if this is in the wrong section just wondering if there is any way to reset it? Also if we bypass it what size resistor, or are they all different?

Try pushing the key into the cylinder all the way, if it is not seated fully this will happen.
When I run the stereo on ACC I pull on the key so the door ajar alarm will not go off with the door open, and sometimes I will forget to push it back so the car will start.
If that doesn't work your key maybe dirty.
