How Heavy is Dynamat Vs. Stock Material?

Does anyone have any real numbers on how heavy dynamat vs. stock deading material under carpet?

I'd like to add some in the wheel well areas and the top of the trunk area.

I just installed 36 sq ft. of Dynamat Xtreme...the box weighed 21lbs.

LOL! Stock sound deadening? That would be the carpet. Under the carpet, theirs random slabs of jute (which weights much less than the carpet) and bare metal.

nice..I'm disagreeing, but have you taken it out and compared? It does help, anyways. I'm thinking of taking out more and putting back in some dynamat.
