Default air/fuel guage install ?

On a 2000 TA do I tap into the HO2S signal Low b1s1 (pin #29) or the HO2S signal High (pin #69)? I tapped into 69 and the guage is all over the place. Figured I'd ask before tapping any more wires.

You must plug into the high signal wire (violet) coming off of the oxygen sensor. I think the low signal is beige, or off white. No need for the adapter thing, its just an expensive wire splice taht u can get at radio shack for $1 for a pack of four (not accurate pricing)

Yeah that's the one I plugged into. I wasn't sure because of the guage bouncing all over the place, but anything over half throttle and it stabalizes.

I have an '01 Z28 and I found the best place to get the correct wire is to tap into the purple with the white strip wire right at the fuel rail on the driver side. Just follow the wire loom up and it is among all the wire off the main wiring harness.

I always wondered, does the gauge run off the front or rear 02 sensors. I would guess the front cause what if you don't have rears or you have simms in the rear.
