Running new speaker wires?

Running new speaker wires? I want to replace my entire car audio system... and I want to do it right.
How hard is it to run new speaker wire in the Trans Am? Can this be a do it yourself project?
Also where is the factory amp located?
I don't really care about the speakers in the very back of the car. I just want to redo my door speakers .. tweeters .. and 6.5 subs in the rear seats.

it is a DIY job, i have done it in a few 4th gen TA's.
running the wires through the door is the hardest part, but even that is not too hard.
if you need specific questions i can answer them for you, and if i have time later, i'll post more information.
