Battery relocation fuse??

Default Battery relocation fuse??

i have a 200amp fuse im going to run but i dont know where do i put it like by the battery in the back orup front by the terminals

doesn't really matter, i would figure it's a preference thing, putting it where ever is most convenient to change it and looks the cleanest... it's just a fuse...

From what I understand, the closer to the battery the better.

This.

Think about it. Say the wire between the battery and the terminal up front gets frayed and shorts. If the fuse is up front, it won't protect that long wire and you could end up with a nasty short and electrical fire.

Fuse close to the battery will protect against that. Stick it next to the battery.

Typical spec is within 12" of the battery.
