07 Yukon factory remote start

07 Yukon factory remote start Is there a trick to making this work ? It will go about every fifth time. Some of those times the lights flash but nothing else happens. The lock/unlock feature works perfectly as does everything else.
Are you sure that you're pressing the R/S button all the way down? My g/f's car has factory remote start on her 06 Malibu Maxx. On occasion, I've had to press so hard on the key fob that I almost broke the damn thing. Cause if it still works every 5th try as you say...than it hasn't lost programming.
If you got it from the dealership, I'd take it back and just have them double check it just to be sure. If you got it from an individual...you might try opening the key fob's casing and take a look at the circuit board to see if there's any cracked solder points or anything that doesn't "look right"
