make your own double din bezel?
would like to see what is involved in case I need to tackle this myself.
this would be for a formula.
TIA
1. get a piece of thin plastic (i used plexyglass and cut out the right size to fit on the radio)
2. remove bezel, measure out the area to cut off with the plexy glass. then attach the plexyglass to the back of the cut out.
3. use something to fill in the area to make the new sides. i used this stuff called marine tex. once you let it harden, sand it down and fill it in with bondo. sand that down and paint. (remember to fill in the little slot between the radio and the ac controls)
i did not have to relocate the ac controls and did slight cutting to the dash (just the little tabs up under the vents and the bottom tray)
here is what my install looks like

if you have anymore questions just ask me. i will try to help you out
