Hardwire V1 Help

Hardwire V1 Help just got my V1 in the mail, went to splice into ground and power wire. the hookup is good when i go to plug the concealed display and V1, no power. could it not be enough power? splitter bad?

When I did mine I used the radio power wire and a chassis ground, mine has worked fine for 8 years. You might want to try a different power source and see if it goes away.

i finally after check the connector that was supplied, and i hooked my tester to the wire and it was only 6V. either that was a bad connection or thats true and 6V is not enough power. off to the next test.
