help finding rear replacement speakers
help finding rear replacement speakers Hello,
I was trying to fin some 6.5 dvc speakers for my rear panels, I installed some other speakers but now have very little bass.
I know there is a dealer on this site but I was trying to see if there were any other speakers that would work and maybe save a few dollars,
has any one put in a small bass tube , do you know if that needs another amp.
Any speaks or advice appreciated, thanks

Basstubes come in both an amplified version and a non amplified version. If you are looking to go non amplified, you might as well do a 10in in a stealth box because it will sound 1000 times better. As far as the amplified tubes, the old ones were decent, but my experience with new ones were that they suck. On an extreme budget build for a 10, an amp, wires, and stealth box you could do this:
kicker comp 10" $55
kicker 300.1 $135
amp kit and an LOC $50
Stealth enclosure on ebay right now $55
So you would be at $295. Then you could pull the signal from your hatch speakers to your sail panels, to get full range there, and your bass would be taken care of. Of course you could upgrade a few of those products, mainly a little better sub for a few bucks and get even better results, but i know off hand that that setup sounds really good for a low budget build up. This would be my choice in your case, but here is other info:
Now, if you want to keep the subs in the sail panels you have these cheaper options:
Bazooka for $120 a pair
Everything else i have found is a single voice coil sub, but you have kicker cvt6.5's for 140 a pair.
