Default Stealth box mounting depth

I have a 10'' stealth box now and I want to put my Alpine Type R sub 12 in the same location. I looked on the subthump website and they said the mounting depth was 9 inches. I would not think the depth would change, but I wanted to make sure before I spend the money and find out the 12 Alpine is too deep and hit the bottom of the box.

Thanks for the insight.

Depth is not your issue. Diameter of the Subthump box is. As I recall the Subthump box will not accommodate a 12" sub. Not because of the depth, but because the edge of the opening is right up to where the edge of the enclosure is. There is no room to open it up anymore along the top and bottom.
