car has electrical demons

car has electrical demons ok some weird ****'s been going on with my car the last couple weeks. started off my passenger headlight (dim) sometimes wouldn't come on when i turned on the lights: solved by going up and hitting the headlight, then it'd come on.
then, my driver's side speakers just go out sometimes. i thought it might have been a connection touching in the back (i hooked up my ipod kinda ghetto-ish but you can't tell unless you pull the radio out). i have my fade almost all the way to the back because my front passenger speaker blew out a while back and i didn't feel like replacing it yet, so i haven't tried to see if the front driver doesn't work either. no fix for this yet...
then, i start my car up one day, normal temp outside, and it says my ASR's off, so i hit the button a couple times, light stays on, then it randomly goes off a couple minutes later. this has only happened a couple times, no fix yet.
and last, i start my car up this morning in a parking garage, and as soon as i turn my key to on (right before starting), my lights come on. i disabled the automatic lights when i first got the car a few years ago by hooking the 2 wires together with a splicer. i couldn't turn my lights off. this is the first time that's happened...
sorry for the long post but it's all accumulated within the last couple weeks, and i want to mark it up as being AFTER i reinstalled my carpet, but that's just because it's the last major thing i did to the car. any ideas?

well i found the source of my speaker issues. i narrowed it down to being the ipod connection and not the radio, so when i wiggle the cable it cuts in and out. would that connection cause anything with the lights and the ASR ?
