LED install for the SES light...need help

Exclamation LED install for the SES light...need help

So i pulled the cluster apart...soldered in an LED and resistor...but it didnt work

turning the key on produced nothing, but it would light for a split second when i was turning the key off.

im lost and i hate wiring and soldering and little things!

anyone have any ideas?

What color LED, what resistor, and are you sure you got the polarity right? The long one is the cathode (+).

had a blue LED...3.5v with a 470ohm resistor since the gauges put out 12v

i may have out it in backwards...i hate circut boards...i dont know which way its supposed to go, since i dont know which wire on the board is + and which is negative

anyhow, it didnt work, so i took it out...messed it up in the process, so its back to radio shack tomorrow to start over.

cause dey be soldered to tha board buddy

gad damn gauges and ****...i need to have ricky do this for me

anyhow, all the T10 LEd's will be coming soon...i jsut wan to change the SES and odometer to blue
