So i pulled the cluster apart...soldered in an LED and resistor...but it didnt work
turning the key on produced nothing, but it would light for a split second when i was turning the key off.
im lost and i hate wiring and soldering and little things!
anyone have any ideas?

had a blue LED...3.5v with a 470ohm resistor since the gauges put out 12v
i may have out it in backwards...i hate circut boards...i dont know which way its supposed to go, since i dont know which wire on the board is + and which is negative
anyhow, it didnt work, so i took it out...messed it up in the process, so its back to radio shack tomorrow to start over.
