Help with DD turn signal issues.

Help with DD turn signal issues. I just got my wife a 1993 Chevy Lumina and the turn signals arent working properly.
When I turn the left signal on the taillights are the ones to turn on and the arrow on the dash does not light up. When I turn the right signal on only the front signals for the right come on and the arrow in the cluster lights up.
The hazards work good all the way around, including the arrows in the cluster. I tried replacing the relay under the dash but that didnt do anything. Im thinking the problem is in the column where the turn signal switch is. All the wiring looks to be in stock form so thats why I figure thats where the problem lies.
Any Ideas???
