LT1 Headlight motor
LT1 Headlight motor Today i put in the brass gears in her 99 corvette and as i was taking the the motor out i noticed the mounting holes looked similar to the ones on my 94 trans am. But this motor had all the problems fixed like the motor is screwed to the housing, same with the cover to get to the gear. Does anyone know if the corvette headlight motors will work on our trans ams? The only reason i had to replace the gear was because the rubber part was in pieces and the plastic gear was cracked in half.
Here is a picture of one for a 97-99 corvette its small but you can see that the motor screws onto the housing. 200-2004 that motors went to the ones that are held on with tabs like the ones found in our cars. i know the plug is different but that wont be hard to switch the wires out and put into the plug that connects our headlights.
