from all the threads ive read(never done myself) you get a scotchlock, which is the reason i havent done...i cant find anything in a hardware store by that name.
You take of your dash you will have a green and yellow wire(as i recall), clamp em together...problem solved. 5 mins max

The reason you can't find ScotchLocks is because you're looking in hardware stores. Try your local auto parts store. They're generally used to tap a new wire into an existing circuit but they make an easy way to short two wires together. Shorting the two light sensor wires together creates zero resistance making the module think it is always daylight out so the headlights never go on automatically (they still work normally through the switch).
