I'm building a hybrid LS1 powered 41 Coupe and will be using pwr heated seats from a Volvo S70. The seat module and switches are are attached to the seat and I have a diagram for the seats. It shows a low speed data (CAN) connection, is there a way to bypass or simulate this?

 

Do you know what the CAN connection is for? Maybe a weight sensor for smart airbags? If so, I would think that you can just leave it unplugged. (I assume there are no side airbags in the seat?)
