Default Is this speaker compatible?

I bought some GTO-628 JBL speakers for the front door speakers in my 2000 Camaro. I had them installed at a local audio shop but I dont think they sound right. Compared to my stock speakers the JBLs do not put out as much sound. I have to turn the stereo up louder to compensate and thus pushing the limit more on my stock subs in the back seat and causing distortion.

Is this normal with this kind of speaker or should I have it redone?

Something that I did notice that was different was that there are only one set of + and - wires running to it.

Here are the stats on the speakers:

6-1/2" (also fits 6-3/4") Grand Touring Series 2-way Car Speakers
Power Handling:
Peak: 360 watts per pair / 180 watts each
RMS: 120 watts per pair / 60 watts each
Plus One cone material
Mylar/titanium composite dome tweeters
Frequency response: 50-21,000 Hz
2 ohms impedance
Sensitivity: 92 dB
Cutout dimensions: 5-1/8"
Top-mount depth: 2"
