Aftermarket CD Changers

Aftermarket CD Changers From what I understand about the stock CD changer, it is a simple plug and play. Are any aftermarket changers plug and play that would connect directly to the existing harness? Also, what type of mounting bracket is needed for the changers?

I think your best bet is to look for a used Delco 12 disk changer. You should be able to get one for around $100-$150.
If you want new you can get a PIE adaptor and a Kenwood changer, or try Crutchfield they sell a complete plug in unit.

Of course the AC Delco 12 disc changer will work. Alpines 6 disc (M-bus series) changer will work along with the Alpine adaptor. Kenwoods 10 disc along with the PIE adaptor also works. And finally Rockford Fosgates 6 disc change with the Periphial adaptor works. The Alpine adaptor was KCE202b. However they no longer make it. You may get lucky and find a shop that has one left over or you could try to find one on ebay.
