I have a 99 Firebird, it dosent have factory keyless or alarm, to add it to my car what else would i need other than

body control module (BCM) (keyless entry receiver) (97-02 Camaro & Firebird) = 9353691

and

remote control door lock transmitter (keyfob) (with antitheft - RPO UA6) (96-02) = 16245100

That's all you need (assuming you already have power locks) to get keyless entry working. However, there's a lot more involved in the alarm... shock sensor, fuel cutoff, starter disable, horn relay, light flash relay, dash indicator LED, and all the associated wiring. You'd be a lot better off installing an aftermarket alarm system - easier, less expensive, and a better alarm.

BTW, you have to buy the BCM new or else do a VATS bypass because used BCMs can't be reprogrammed to match your ignition key.

It depends on what features you want and how much you want to spend. Generally, DEI makes very good alarm systems under various brand names - Viper, Python, etc.

If you're looking for something simple, inexpensive, and easy to install, DEI makes an alarm upgrade for keyless entry equipped cars called the Hornet 700T. It was marketed for several years by GM under their own part number. All of the connections except the siren can be made at the BCM, you retain use of the factory remote key fobs, and it will accept DEI accessories such as a perimeter sensor. You can find them online for less than $75.
