^ Nope... occasionally I (we, maybe) have to pull the box back toward the rear of the trunk to get the tops in. But they fit fine. I've had mine for about five years now.
Oh and to the OP: if your trunk won't close, lift the box up a hair till the latch resets or releases. It happens to me occasionally. The box puts pressure on the trunk latch. VERY mild nuisance if at all. The divider/block trunk thing fits back in too, so you can't even tell it's back there when the trunk is closed.
I think your Trans Am logo looks a helluva lot better than my piddly Z28 logo.

^ no.. I got them from Crutchfield. Infinity Kappa Perfect 12's. As far as the tops, you don't put them in there glass against glass do ya? I place the inside of the glass against the body of the car for both tops.
And when it gets hot enough, that foam strip on the opening of the box comes off and leaves adhesive on your tops. Easy to get off with some goof-off or whatever.
