Default Monsoon to iPod?

Is there anyway I could play my iPod through my factory Monsoon stereo without a wireless fm transmitter, like a cord that plugs into the back of the stereo or anything? It doesn't have to charge my iPod for me. I find from past experience that fm transmitters suck . Thanks for the help!
