It fits fine and several have been done. Unfortunately I have no pics available but I'm sure there are some around.
Speaking of which Farenheit and a couple of other lessor radio brands have just released a new 8.3" screen flip out that is actually very cool for a flip out screen. It even has metal gears in it and is quiet compared to alot of the cheaper flip out screens. Plus it is priced at $389.00 shipped. The Farenheit version is the: Farenheit TID-831NRB

I have used the Fareheit TID-702NR and it worked flawlessly and was actually suprised at how good it sounded and how well the bluetooth and stuff operated. This was in my beater.
