calling all pc guys
calling all pc guys this winter i bought a carpc off a guy over at mp3car i messed around with it and im not sure how everything is supposed to go together there is a cable that he didnt send for power other than that im not sure. attatched are some pictures if someone can point out what i need to do and get i would appreciate it.

Not to sound like a dick but that just looks like a bad hack job. I'm a computer technician and the first thing that came to my mind when I looked at the pictures was abortion. Plus what do you want a carpc for?
Thats just a laptop with the lcd removed and a vga cable going to a 7 inch display. I dont see power cords for the laptop or the display is that what your missing. Shouldnt be anything to hooking it up.

that cord with the blue end coming off the display will have to plug into the ''key board''.youll need to find the plugs for the display,radioshack has some that will work for you, and supply 12v switched from the fuse box to the larger of the two black cords.the other one that looks like a headphone jack or something wont be used, i think goes to a rear camera.if ths 'keyboard' piece turns out to be a pita then just search for then client over in the computer section,you can get one used for like $15 and use your screen more easily.they run on 12v and have windows installed on most.they work perfect for car pcs

so the vga cable goes into the keyboard part? there is a plug in on it for it. all that came with it for a power cord is the ac plug to the converter but the cord that goes from the converter to the laptop is missing. what would the usb coming out of the monitor be for?
