ignition power for pillar gauges?

ignition power for pillar gauges? wondering where guys tap into a 12 volt power source off of the igniton for 3 of my gauges that im running? any info on colors and what i could use for power would be greatly appreciated. thanks, tyler
Luckily, there is a fuse panel just inches from your A pillar. I believe there will be a pink one in there that is 12v switched by the ignition. Double check with a test light or volt meter. There are some empty slots in there.
What exactly does using a flat spade consist of? Do you just add a connector to the power wire and plug it in, and the ground goes wherever is convenient? Or is there a way to actually wire up a new fuse in one of the empty slots?
