I know everyone says the bulbs will break when you try to remove them from the interior. What is the best way to get them out though? Is it to just break the bulb with a set of pliers? and then did it out? I cant get my hvac light or the lights on my doors out of the socket. or is is just best to wire a led directly in there? Any advice would e helpful . These things are a pita to try and remove. I cant pull them out my next option is to try n break them and then remove the pieces.

take a 2" piece of duct tape and fold it over itself and the bulb so it gives you a pull tab.
