And here is my first issue of the build.....the body of the tweeter dome is too big.....it doesn't seem to be too bad just a little trimming and it should fit.
So for this build I decided to go with kenwood's party pack that has two 10's and a 350 watt amp, the deck is a Pioneer Z110BT and yes you need too modify the bezel too fit the DD deck. I went with Sony component speakers in the front and Alpines for the back.......if I find the 350 watt is not enough I will upgrade it.

I'm guessing the best place to get this is from the gauge cluster harness.....I think its B8 and its dark green/white
Power side of the parking break switch
I think I can go with either A5 Tan/White on the guage cluster harness or just on the switch on the parking break.
Reverse gear signal
ok the easiest is going to be one of the reverse lights but is there some where closer too the dash where I can tap in?
Thanks guys
(I miss my Kenwood where I could just ground out the parking break indicator and bypass the whole thing.)
Parking brake switch wire is available at the DRL module mounted on the HVAC duct behind the radio. It's the light blue wire in the corner of the 8-pin blue connector.
Unfortunately, the backup lights are the best source for that signal. However, if you're not planning to install a backup camera, you don't need that connection. Pioneer says it should be connected to tell the GPS when the car is backing up but it's not necessary - the GPS is smart enough to figure it out by your changing position.
So does any one have the part number(or type) for the pins used in the Stock radio conector and for the METRA conector that goes to it?

As for the pins for the Metra harness.....I just bought another one and took the pins out if it.....while destroying it in the process because I don't have the right extraction tool....does any one know where I can get the female of this kind of pin in the bay area? (I already tried Fry's and I'm going to try Radio Shack tomorrow.)
