12v ignition source in the engine bay?
12v ignition source in the engine bay? sorry.. I just havent looked real hard yet...
is there an easy place to connect to a 12v ignition on source in the engine bay?
I need to wire something in, but only want it powered when the ignition is on and dont want to have to run the power wires back into the car..besides I've already tapped into the fuse panel for a 12v ignition source for something else.

On the top Pcm connector #19 is a pink wire is your PCM Ignition wire if I remember correctly. I beleive this will work for you.

I'll be drawing a few more amps than that wire is rated for...need to have a thicker wire to go to..

relay is in... just have to come up with the 12v ignition on power..
where is this power from the headlamp doors? and do the headlamps have to be on when I want the 12v...that could be an issue

If you're using a relay then you don't have to be concerned about current draw from the PCM wire as was posted earlier. Use the PCM ignition wire to trigger your relay.
