Default AC Delco-Bose Question?

Okay on my 95 Firebird I have the 10 speaker premium system which has the stock amplifier powering the sail panel speakers. Could I add an amp to my aftermarket speakers while the stock amp is still in or will it mess up the stock amplifier. I dont wanna get a sub for bass so thats why i wanna amp the car to add bass to the door speakers. Someone recommend good component speakers with bass for 300 dollars or less?

You can always add an amp as long as you don't mind rewiring the speakers. You will need an amp with speaker-level inputs or a line level converter since the factory head unit doesn't have pre-amp output.

BTW, the system in your car has nothing to do with Bose - only Camaros had Bose systems and they were completely different.
