2001 Corvette horn went out...
It started sounding wimpy for a while, and now just doesn't work at all. So I am assuming it's the actual horn mechanism and not a fuse/relay. Is there a way to check and make sure, and do I have to get a high and a low horn?

I've tested mine before by just taking them out and hooking them straight up to a 12V source - it'll certainly wake you up if they work.
If both are shot, you'll need a high and low. When mine went out a few years back, it was my low tone - that was a pretty sweet sounding horn for a while

Well if the sound degraded over time, could it be anything besides the actual horns themselves? It went from having a full dual-tone sound, to have a little wimpy single-tone sound, to nothing.
