are these good speakers?
are these good speakers? I just pulled my door panels off of my 98 WS6 and found that the front speakers were kenwood KFC-1682 IE and I was wondering if they are good speakers? I have the monsoon system and was going to upgrade all of my interior speakers to some alpine type R's? Let me know what you guys think.

The quality of the speakers isn't the question - they're the wrong type of speaker to use in a Monsoon system. So are the Alpine type R's except for the door components. I suggest you read the Monsoon FAQ sticky first and then do some research here on what others have done. Or ask our sponsors Kee Audio or SparksAI about their replacement speaker packages for Monsoon systems.
