Remote start and factory security
Remote start and factory security I am looking at getting a remote start for the Camaro. I did some searching and found some places where people thought a remote start would remove any factory security features (I assume VATS is what they were referring to).
I was wondering if there is anyone here who installs alarms / remote starts or is familiar with how they work in F-bodies who can clear this up. I don't want to do this if it defeats any security features.
I am leaning towards a clifford remote start. I had a clifford alarm on a previous car and really liked it. It never gave me any trouble. Are they still quality products?
