I've got a fiberglass JL stealthbox and I need to get a speaker for it. I like JL speakers, but they're pretty expensive, and is probably more than I need. I'm looking to replace my MTX 10" sub. I have an MTX amp pushing about 300 watts. Any speaker recommendations for such a small enclosure?

I say go with Nakamichi 10". They work very well in small enclosures. Recommended for enclosures that are0.5 to 0.9 CU.FT.The JBL enclosure falls within those parameters. They run upto 300watts RMS, 600 peak. Your amp may not cut it, unless you meant 300RMS. They Cost about $75. If you have more money, Maybe the AudioBahn 10" Compression Pistons. $117. They are also pretty good. Same CU.FT. reqirements as the nakamichi but much higher power handeling. For that you would need a much better amp. Around 600watts RMS at 2ohms.
