Kee Audio speaker replacement reviews?
Camaro
1.) CDT CL-61CV 6.5" Component Speaker System (doors)
2.) CDT CL-6 SVC midbass woofers (sailpanels)
3.) JVC 4" CSV426 coaxials (hatch)
Yes, I've searched.
Let me know what you think. How do they sound?
I'll be replacing the head unit with a JVC, Kenwood or Alpine next.
Thanks!

KeeAudio sells great products and the customer service is top notch. If you have any problems installing them, there are numerous write ups and pictures on here.
My new head unit will be here in a day or 2. I can't wait to hear the difference!
The hatch speaker holes didn't align properly with the ones stock in the hatch. I took the panel out, put the speaker in the hatch and marked where the holes needed to be. Then I drilled them out and put 3 small bolts and nuts on them to hold them in place.

Here's a hatch side by side

Then I installed a JVC KD-HDR60 and all I can say is wow! Not even high end stuff, but I'm finally happy with this system. The EQ settings in the radio allow me to get it exactly where I want. Still haven't installed the hatch speakers yet. Soldered and shrunk the harness adapter. It came out OK.

You'll like their speakers over stock.
Just replacing the fronts left me wanting more from my system.
I guess since you revived the thread I'll update.
So what I ended up with:
JVC Head unit KD-HDR60-$100.00 shipped from amazon (best bang-for buck)
Harness and antennea,DIN adapters-$60.00
Kee Audio replacement speakers-Under $300.00
Crunch Ground Pounder 1000w amp
MTX Terminator 12" sub
Removable truck type speaker box.
(mounted the amp on the back of the box)
The amp, sub and box I picked up for well under $160.00 new.
WOW! Maybe it's just because I'm an old guy and easily impressed, but damn!
Everything sounds super clean and the bass hits hard and tight.
It will go loud enough to actually make my internal organs hurt!
Old ladys give me the annoyed look from my liscence plate frame buzzing.
So for around $600.00 I ended up with the best system I've ever had.
I have 3 friends who have spent much more, that hate on me because mine sounds better, crisper, cleaner.
The midbass speakers are pretty much worthless now. I have the tuner settings for bass/midbass completely
off, because the sub handles everything. This also cuts down on distortion, allowing for a cleaner high volume sound from the monsoon amp.
I could have got away with just door speakers, but DO like the rear fill despite true audiophile's opinions of what I SHOULD like.
The head unit equallizer made ALL the difference in the way it sounds.
I'm a happy guy!
