"custom wiring" question Alright, for those of you who frequent this area... I'm sure you'll remember my post a couple months back about a Corvette to Trans Am conversion for the HUD and/or gauge cluster...
fabrication aside, would it be possible to wire up the vette harness that gives input to the gauges to the 1998 computer in my TA?

200mph speedo, and those sexy gauges.
Currently a setup like this from 6LE would be 400$ for the recalibration of the stock speedo to 200mph, a new face(idr if included) and then 180$ for a OBDII HUD that you stick to the dash.
So if I could get this whole thing done for 600$, I'd be in the same boat with more attractive (at least imo) gauges and what not
Thoughts, opinions?

Most of the information between the IPC and the PCM is serial data. You would have to get them to talk to one another correctly.
As for the wiring part, you need connector end views for both components for both cars.
