Disable check engine light?

Disable check engine light? I have an 02 Firebird V6. The stinking check engine light wont stay off. The computer has no codes stored in it. Is there any way to disable the light. I pulled the cluster, and don't see an independent bulb for it. I just want the damn thing off.......H E L P !!!!
