driver side kick panel removal

driver side kick panel removal i have a 94 Trans am thats an automatic and tryin to remove the driver side kick panel to run speaker wires to the driver side door. i cant seem to get it loose and it feels like its getting caught or not coming loose from the foot rest area/portion of the kick panel. anyone got any tips for removing it? i got the passengers side off with no problem. just cant get the drivers off

Just had mine out and in tonight, there are 5 screws like said, one in the middle of the foot rest. You can get the screw out and back in by the seat recline lever with a ofset phillips. If you dont have one it might be a bitch, or have to remove your seat.
Gettign the screw holes lined back up going back on was a PITA.
