8 hours and i am just about half way there!!

This is one PITA car mod.. I hope the added weight, $$, and time make it worth it....

Did you cut the sound deadening material around the velcro in order to install it on the sail panel? Or did you re-install the velcro over the material?

This looks very well done, and I agree, the small portions of the car I have completed are also a PITA...

Got a couple questions, how much sound deadening did you get to do the whole car? Also what brand? It's hard to see from my phone but it looks like Eastwood products. Thanks

Thanks that's what I thought. I wonder this does compare to hushmat, raamat, second skin, dynamat.

Just add the deadener around the velcro removing it is to risky on breaking it!

I'm not worried about adding the weight to the car to make it more comfortable.

I ordered it from eastwood its like $240 for around 75 Sq feet. compaired to dynamat thats cheap as hell..

75 was enough to do the entire door/cabin and some of the trunk.

If you want the roof/inside of doors and all of the rear.. then yeah 100+ is needed..

Im guessing 30ish lbs or so..

Heavy but the inside of the car sounds like a cave now.. Ive yet to street drive it with the cutout open.

The carpet is out of the car soaking in stain remover to clean it up at the moment..
