Default Buying used equipment

Hi, I think I'm trading my paintball gear for a set of 2 12" Kicker comps and a 1600w boss chaos extreme amp. What should I look for when I pick this stuff up? The guy told me that the equipment has never been installed, but he did hook it up once to make sure the gear works. Anything I should know before I pick this up?

12" kicker comps are rated at 150 watts RMS & 300 watts max.
So for 2 of these subs you would want an amp that puts out
300 watts RMS & 600 watts max.

A 1600 watt amp may be too big for the subs. It's hard to know
for sure without knowing the amps specs.

(Kicker CompVR's & CompVX's have a higher power rating)

The amp is rated 220 RMS at 4 ohms and 800W max at 2 ohms. The subs are 4 ohms.

The subs are single voice coil. And yes the amp is 2 ch and bridgeable.

If the amp is 220 watts RMS per channel that's not that bad of a match.
Just be careful not to set the gain on the amp too high at first.

BTW, your best bet when buying used equipment is to hook it up as soon
as possible to make sure it works. Good luck.
