Default Turn signal issue

Hey,
My turn signal timing is way off on my 2000 SS, blinks inconsistently on both sides for some reason. Any ideas on whats wrong and how to fix? Uploaded a video with. Thanks in advance .

The 4 way lights work fine just checked, no issues at all. So it might be electronic flasher then?

yes,, because they use different flashers,,, its def. the signal flasher causeing issues,,, problem is I dont know where to find it,, or what one it is. Im thinking about upgrading to led lights and need to run a electronic flasher (instead of a standard manual one),, but i dont know what one the signals flasher is? the new ones are only like 15 bucks or so and plug right in.

The flashers on my 97 were located behind the panel under the steering column. IIRC, there were two of them just like someone mentioned above. After getting the panel off, turn on the turn signal. The flasher should be clicking & it'll be easier to locate. Good luck.

Here's a thread with some good pics showing where the flasher module is located
