Sunday Project HU Hey people,
well, it was sunday and I was bored, so I figured id do something usefull.
The face plate on my panasonic head unit had definately seen better days, these things just seem to attract scratches.. So I decided to remedy as best I could..
This is how it looked when I started.

I couldnt find a detailed thread on this, probably because its so simple, but I do hope that this helps someone out in the future.. knowledge is power as they say..
The steps I used were :
1. Clean the faceplate very well, with plastic cleaner.
2. Using a microfiber cloth I applied a very small amount of "cleaner wax" to it and rubbed in a vertical and then horizontal motion with reasonably firm pressure alternating as I went along.
3. Clean again and inspect, more passes....
4. After repeating this 3-4 times I got the faceplate to where I am happy with it,

Sorry bout the dust! haha!
I hope this helps anyone wondering if they can in fact rejuvenate their faceplate with products they may have lying around and about 15 minutes of faffing around.. well worth it in my opinion.
